The Davidson Institute of Science Education, built and supported by philanthropist William Davidson, offers programs geared toward a range of students: gifted kids, at-risk youth, minorities, girls. It also provides continuing education for teachers and online international courses.
Every summer since 1969, talented high-school graduates accepted into the Dr. Bessie F. Lawrence International Summer Science Institute come to campus and pursue their own research alongside Weizmann scientists.
