Studying the chemicals plants produce during development or under stress, Prof. Aharoni is paving the way for more nutritious, pest-resistant crops. Using cutting-edge technology, he is also exploring how cannabis — and its active ingredients like cannabidiol (CBD) — can contribute to biomedicine.
