Women for Science Luncheon: Honoring Women Who Change Lives 2019

Join us for our annual luncheon celebration of women scientists at the Weizmann Institute of Science.

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Ulyana Shimanovich, Weizmann Institute of Science. "Protein Nanofibrils: From Neurodegenerative Disorders to Functional Materials"

The program includes a guest presentation from Dr. Ulyana Shimanovich. Our 2019 Vision & Impact Award will be presented to Stacie Geller, PhD, from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Geller’s contributions to women’s maternal health and mortality have far-reaching implications for the medical community and women throughout the world. She has participated in specific initiatives and research to improve the healthcare and outcomes for women residing in impoverished nations.

All luncheon proceeds support the Chicago Fund for Women Scientists at the Institute.
