A brief overview of the Dr. Bessie F. Lawrence International Summer Science Institute, which offers students from around the world the unique opportunity to spend four weeks working with scientists at the Weizmann Institute. Established by Dr. Lawrence in 1969, the institute has taken place every year since, with over 2,000 students from all over the globe taking part.

The participants are high-school graduates with a particular talent for science, and many of them go on to become leaders in science education, research, and industry.
